Kids of Halifax, have we got the day camp for you! Whether for March Break camp or summer camp, we love to welcome new and experienced Irish dancers to camp each year. Our 2026 March Break camps for kids at our dance studios in Bedford are open for registration. We are running two camps for kids: one for new dancers and one for experienced Irish dancers. Summer camp day camps will open for registration later in the year but dates are below.

- March Break Camp: March 16–20, 2026
- July camps: July 13–17, 2026
- August camps: Aug. 10–14, 2026
MARCH BREAK CAMP REGISTRATION
March Camp 1 (Beginner): New and new-ish to Irish dance (Studio 2). Open to new dancers ages 5–8 plus Rising Tide dancers in Beginner, or Advanced Beginner class of any age. Studio 2. What better time to learn to Irish dance than just before St. Patrick’s Day? Dancers in this camp will get completely immersed in the wonderful world of Irish dance and learn about technique, music, Irish culture and more on top of becoming fabulous Irish dancers. Dancers will explore all of this through dance, games, crafts, videos and more. There really is nothing like Irish dance! An end-of-week performance will take place at 3pm on Friday, March 20. Families are invited to attend.
March Break Camp 2 (Advanced): Experienced Irish dancers (Studio 1). Max age 13. Open to current Rising Tide dancers in Intermediate, Advanced and Championship. Studio 1. Dancers in this camp will continue to advance their dancing and competition goals all while getting to know dancers from other classes. They’ll also be exposed to new skills and elements of Irish dancing to further their training. Dancers will explore all of this through dance, games, crafts, videos and more. This is going to be the best week ever! An end-of-week performance will take place at 3pm on Friday, March 20. Families are invited to attend.
MARCH BREAK CAMP INFO
- Dates: March 16–20, 206
- Times: 9am–4pm. Extra early drop-off 8-8:30, early drop-off 8:30-8:45am, delayed pick-up 4:05-4:30, extra delayed pick-up 4:30-5pm
- Location: Rising Tide Irish Dance Academy’s dance studios. Unit 4, 325 Rocky Lake Drive, Bedford, Nova Scotia. Serving dancers across Halifax and the surrounding areas.
- Fees: $295/dancer, $265/sibling. Early pick-up or delayed pick-up $5per or $10 for both each day. Extra early drop-off or extra delayed pick-up: $10per or $20 for both each day. Day rate of $75/day available. Pick-up and drop-off fees will be invoiced at the end of the camp week and do not need to be paid daily.
