The Atlantic Canadian Irish Dance Championships’ 2026. committee is planning a Trivia & Auction Night and you’re invited. Grab your friends and family and join us for a fun evening with a mix of trivia, silent auction and dance performances—plus door prizes. The bar and kitchen will both be open so come early and stay late! Note that the food menu will be a limited pub menu. However guests with dietary restrictions will have access to alternatives.
WHEN:
Friday November 14, 2025. Doors and silent auction open at 6 p.m., trivia starts at 7 p.m.
WHERE:
Brightwood Golf and Country Club, 227 School Street, Dartmouth, in the ballroom.
WHO:
Trivia teams can have up to six players. Open to all ages (no time restriction) and anyone interested in a bit of trivia, a little auction action, and a smattering of dancing.
TRIVIA HOST:
Kevin Chapman, or Chappy as he is known to many, is back again as our trivia host. Kevin was the trivia host at Brightwood Golf Club for many years and has a particular love for Jeopardy-style questions (hint hint, brush up on your clever clues). He continued his trivia sessions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic with many virtual sessions for family, friends and events. Kevin will bring some of the best questions from his current catalogue along with modern topics to challenge even the best of teams over six rounds.
SILENT AUCTION ITEMS AND 50/50:
Download a list of auction items to view in advance. It’s possible additional items may be added on the evening.
A 50/50 draw will also take place on the night. Tickets are 1 for $3, 2 for $5, 5 for $10 and 10 for $15. The draw will take place before the end of the evening and you must be present to win.
For both the auction and 50/50, cash, debit and credit card will be accepted. Cheques will also be accepted for auction items.
