2024 school feis was full of love

We hosted our annual school feis (internal Irish dance competition) on February 11 in Dartmouth at École du Carrefour. Nearly 70 Rising Tide dancers took to the stage to perform for our invited adjudicator, Casey Costello, from Costello Irish Dance in Montréal. Awards were given out based on merit in four technical categories: carriage & control, footwork & placement, rhythm & timing, and overall performance. In addition, two special dance competitions were held to mark the proximity to Valentine’s Day: Soulmate Slip Jig and Love is Reel. Dancers got to show their creativity with their own unique choreography and costumes.
